Kirsten and Ryan tied the knot in September at the Willow Oaks Country Club in Richmond, VA.  Though rain showers moved the ceremony inside, nothing dampened the fun!  Here are a few pictures of their wedding celebration.  In the works is a slideshow of all the great images of the day!

The New and Improved!

November 25, 2011

It’s been quite a trip working through all the details of the new website.  Yes, it’s now official and East Beach Photography has a new face, a new portfolio page and a blog to bring everyone the latest images.  Do check out the pages and if anything doesn’t work quite right, please let me know.  I’m still adding portfolio images and will change these up on a regular basis.

East Beach Photography Logo The New and Improved!

I absolutely love the new logo and coming up with it was a wonderful collaboration with Tracie Hawk of treyStone, Inc.   I learned long ago that “the devil is in the details”.  That means if someone says, “Oh, it’s easy!”, it’s not.  A side story…I once went into a Kaypro store and felt like a “dude” in a ring of rodeo riders.  I sat down and proceeded to totally screw-up the DOS operating system.  I asked for help and the salesman (aka, computer geek) took one look at what I’d done and gave me “the look” which was….you should leave now and never come back.  I’ve learned a lot about computers since then but still things go south and I get in over my head.  What was refreshing about working with Tracie was she always had a smile and more importantly gave 100% to get my new website looking great!  And, she never gave me “the look”!

Two years is a long time to stay with the same old website.  So, with the help of Tracie Hawk of treyStone, Inc. and the folks at Photography BlogSites a new website is now in the making for East Beach Photography.  Tracie is the architect behind our new logo and website design.  Once a few finishing touches are added, the new site will go live!  Drum roll, please!
