There is nothing more warming for a photographer than to process portraits from a summer session in the winter.  Usually, proof selections are made within a month or so but Courtney and Max had their minds (and hands) full with Maddy so selections were not made until the holidays and now here we are in winter.  So, it's been fun processing great photos with that perfect summer light and leaves on the trees that are green.  But, in a few minutes Super Bowl kicks off and sorry you guys, time out for the rest of tonight to watch the game!  

A family portrait is a precious picture! And any photographer will tell you that it's not an easy image to create. Why? Because in most cases you've got kids that won't cooperate, a setting sun that won't slow down, and variables that only crop up on the day of the shoot. Yes, Photoshop is always in a photographer's back pocket but when it comes together like this...perfect smiles, relaxed and genuine...with no need to Photoshop anything, that is a great day for any photographer!
